TINUBU’S SELF-GAG ORDER

Why is Bola Tinubu (BAT) afraid of communicating directly with Nigerian voters whose support he is seeking?

Of late, Tinubu has chosen to speak to the Nigerian electorate through proxies instead of talking to them directly.

Particularly, he sent Shettima to the NBA conference to speak for him.

Then, Joe Igbokwe recently told us that Tinubu was a dollar millionaire before he went into politics, without offering any factual evidence.

Then, Festus Keyamo was telling us that “great people” like Tinubu read for their certificates at home as in ordinary and advanced level GCE, again, without any evidence.

Furthermore, the Lagos state APC spokesman was explaining to Nigerians why Tinubu could not attend the NBA conference.

So, again, why can’t Tinubu address Nigerian voters directly instead of continuing to speak through proxies.

Are these proxies going to represent him at the Presidential debates when the real campaigns start?

Is this a move to shield himself from potential gaffes and suspected verbal incoherence and memory challenges?

The sooner he and his handlers confront this issue the better for them because there’s no way to avoid it and it’s getting worse by the day.
