According to Punch newsonline, the Enugu State Commissioner of Police said, “the marauders engaged policemen and soldiers that were deployed in a shoot out. If the herdsmen engaged the police and solders, and yet killed these number of people, then there is serious problem. As if the situation looks hopeless, the Enugu State Governor has given everything to God and declared two days fasting. Don’t get me wrong, prayers are good, but with the present situation above, self help is inevitable.
