Suspended Rural Electrification Agency (REA), MD/CEO, Ms Damilola Ogunbiyi, back to UN top management job as Sec-General’s Special Representative for Sustainable Energy for All and Co-Chair of UN-Energy.

Ogunbiyi whose appointment came after a highly competitive global search led by the SEforALL Administrative Board, will continue the close ties SEforALL has with the UN, helping to support even greater collaboration towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7)—affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all by 2030.

Ogunbiyi was for no reason suspended as the MD, REA by the Nigerian federal government and a level 12 civil servant and son of the Nigerian president, Mohammadu Buhari, close associate and sole consultant at PTF, Ahmad Salihijo, appointed as replacement….
