Peter Obi Is Now APC’s Nightmare.
APC has done everything unthinkable against the OBIdient Movement and the OBIDatti2023 ticket. APC is in power and so committed to destroying the fortunes of a Labour Party that many people claim has no structure. LP must be doing something right.
Aside from banning the hosting of billboards in support of the campaign in some APC states, OBIdients have had their rallies banned in Kaduna State and in Ogbomosho. They have been viciously attacked personally in Lagos and collectively in their meetings in Enugu and Ebonyi States.
On Saturday 29th October 2022, the Nasarawa State APC-led Government registered itself in the Book of Political Infamy by declaring today a clean-up day, thus restricting movement around Lafia for some hours, then it went on to deny the Labour Party the use of the Lafia stadium – the stadium was officially closed for use 2 hours before the flag-off of the campaign and finally it ensured that it mounted a campaign of hate on local radio warning that violence was taking place in the new campaign ground chosen for the flag-off.
Despite all these nefarious State-sponsored activities, the campaign flag-off was a huge success.
