Your Excellency,
We are prompted to write this due to the incessant attacks on Prof Benard Odo’s campaign materials in the State by suspected members of Ebube Agu.
Sir, we the Peace loving and progressive thinking sons and daughters of the State, under the umbrella of ODOHmeter, believe that you can use your good office to curb this lawlessness.
Your Excellency, you would agree with us that existence of multiple party system is one of the most pronounced features of Democracy. Why then this level of hatred and Intolerance for opponents by some members of the ruling party in the State?
Sir, it’s pertinent to note that, upon the creation of Ebube Agu by south Eastern leaders, their function was to serve as complementary Security, to the Federal Government Security Agencies existent in the Region. We all rejoiced believing that criminality around Eastern Regions will be nipped on the board. Political thuggery was never part of their mandate.
Your excellency sir, live and let live is all that the ODOHmeters seek. Everyone vying for the Governorship position in the State deserves equal Freedom to market his/her self to the people. We urge you to use your good office to ensure the needful. We are all Ebonyians and deserve equal opportunities. Ifeanyi Odoh (Prof) deserves a peaceful coexistence and safe Campaign in the State.
Your Excellency, Ifeanyi Odoh (prof) and his teaming Supporters are peace loving. We don’t intend to engage in violence with our own brothers. Sir, we demand that you use your good office to investigate this situation. If really these people carrying out these lawless activities are members of Ebube Agu, they should please be warned to desist from such acts. They should focus on the job they were called to do by liaising with Police and other relevant agencies to ensure Security in the State. Also, if investigations exonerates them, let those behind the senseless attack on Odoh’s billboards and his other campaign materials be brought to justice.
Your Excellency sir, we count on you to look into this matter and subsequently, handle it with fairness. Ifeanyi Odoh (Prof), ODOHmeters and everyone supporting Odoh’s candidacy should be allowed to go about their campaigns unhindered. We want to thank you in expectation.
