Chief Mbazulike Amaechi Died Without Accomplishing His Wish.

Unfortunately, this respectable old man died with unaccomplished wishes of seeing the release of Nnamdi Kanu. Recall few months ago, he did lead a team soliciting for Nnamdi Kanu to be released, promising to help end insecurity in southeast. Pointedly, he told Buhari that his last wish before he departs is to see peace return to SouthEast. Seeing how aged he was, I personally felt that the federal government would do him the honour and release Kanu. Buhari never did. Today, the old man has gone to the grave without peace returning to southeast, which was he passionately asked Buhari for. The Kanu case is now far more twisted than ever. This is typical of the country called Nigeria, where accomplished senior citizens are brazenly disregarded on the altar of youthful exuberance. I am waiting for Buhari’s memoir and message on Amaechi’s death. Buhari is the highest Igbo-hating president’s Nigeria have heard. For those of you supporting the bigot in Aso Rock, just know that he hates you. Rest in Peace, the great. Rest in Peace, Mbazulike Amaechi.
