The Urgent Need to Address The Reoccurring Incidents of Accidental Discharge of Fire Arms.
At Plenary on Thursday 30th January 2020,at the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Ozurigbo Ugonna, rose to support a motion on matters of public importance by Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha on the need to address the reoccurring incidents of accidental discharge through the mishandling of fire arms by some operatives of the National Security Agencies.
As a co-sponsor of the motion, Hon Ugonna condemned the killing of his friend and brother, Engr. Ndubuisi Emenike, who was gunned down in Isiala Mbano by a Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps officer.
He urged the house to offer a minute of silence for this young man slain in his prime.
